Work on-board Cunard Line's QE2, QM2, and the brand new QV2, the world’s most famous cruise liners, as part of the "C-Crew" children’s programme team. Cunard are renowned for their first class service, comfort and style and they sail to New York and throughout the Caribbean and Mediterranean. We are proud to have designed and developed their highly acclaimed on-board children’s services. C-Crew provides high quality care and a programme of crafts, games and sports activities for children from 1-16.
Due to the prestigious nature of this work, competition to be in the C-Crew team is very high. Permanent staff contracts are for approximately four months on the ship then two months off, occasionally there are short term contracts available to cover staff leave and busy holiday periods.
Youth Staff are responsible for planning, preparing and delivering a range of sports and activities for groups of children aged between 7 and 16. Youth Staff also have involvement with other duties on board such as embarkation / disembarkation, muster station duties, welcome on board shows, meeting and greeting parents.
Skills Match: Educated or working towards an HND/ Degree in a related qualification with two NGB sports coaching qualifications and with at least 2 years sports coaching experience with children aged 4-16. Staff must have a high level of customer service skills and be British citizens. Additional skills that we look for; experience of working at sea, additional languages, first aid qualification, experience of working for King’s Camps in the UK.

Nursery Nurses are required to maintain a safe and friendly recreational area within the Nursery on-board, providing a variety of activities to cover all ages up to 7 years old. Nursery Nurses also have involvement with other duties on board such as embarkation / disembarkation, muster station duties, welcome on board shows, meeting and greeting parents.
Skills Match: NNEB/ CACHE Diploma or equivalent qualification, minimum of two years nursery experience with children aged 6 months upwards. Staff must have a high level of customer service skills and be British citizens. Additional skills that we look for; experience of working at sea, nanny work with families, experience working in a nursery setting, additional languages and a first aid qualification.
