Introduction

We run multi-activity camps at over 30 top class venues throughout the UK, and specialist International Soccer Schools and Michael Vaughan Cricket camps run alongside these at selected venues. Site Manager

Managers have overall responsibility for managing a venue specific camp for a season. Their primary role is to lead and inspire their staff team to achieve high levels of care, coaching, organisation and health and safety.

Skills Match: We look for PE teachers, primary teachers or individuals with significant coaching experience. Experience of working with children of all ages, especially with children under the age of 8 is essential, along with motivation, commitment and exceptional organizational skills.

Rate of Pay: £361 per week

Assistant Manager

As part of the management team the Assistant Manager helps the Site Manager run the camp whilst enjoying coaching responsibilities. A King's Camps Assistant Manager ensures that high coaching standards are maintained and they lead by example at all times. Assistant Managers also oversee part of our extended hours provision.

Skills Match: We look for individuals with coaching qualifications in at least three sports, or significant coaching experience in one sport, or being in the final stages of PE related PGCE/BEd degree. Leadership skills and organizational skills are essential.

Group Coach

A King’s Camps Group Coach is responsible for the planning, preparation and delivery of a range of sports and activities to a Group of age specific children, delivering a fun and varied coaching experience for your group.

Skills Match: We are looking for individuals that are proficient in coaching a range of sports, preferably net and wall, invasion games or striking and fielding games, have an NGB coaching qualification in at least 1 sport, or are completing a teaching qualification. Experience of working with children is essential.

Skills Match: Individuals with an NVQ in Childcare, studying Primary Teaching, studying Childcare or Art related degree qualification.

Group Carer

A King's Camps Group Carer is interested and competent in a variety of sports and gains coaching and childcare experience by assisting a Group Coach lead a group of children aged 4-7 years.

Skills Match: Group Carers must be at least 17 years old, preferably have at least an NGB Coaching qualification in one sport or an NVQ level 2 in Childcare or Childcare related discipline. Experience of working with children is desirable.

Swimming Coach

The Swimming Coach is responsible for planning and delivering all swimming sessions and adhering to King's Camps programmes and safety standards at all times. Our programmes combine a mixture of structured teaching and fun. When not on poolside, Swimming Coaches will get involved with other activities going on within the camp.

Skills Match: We look for individuals with Full STA Level 2 Swimming Teachers Certificate or ASA Level 2 Certificate for teaching swimming (previously ASA full teachers) and a NPLQ, NARS qualification or National Rescue Test for Teachers. Motivation and commitment is essential.

Rate of Pay: £227 per week (Hours of work 9.45am - 4.15pm)

We have a range of Specialist opportunities available on our camps nationwide, with flexible working dates and hours. These opportunities are for sports and activities that children would not get the opportunity to normally participate in. Skills Match: We are looking for minimum ECB Level 2 qualified coaches, with experience of staff management, extensive experience of coaching cricket and working with children aged 5 upwards.
